NewsCassette Bring 'Beautiful California' Across The USWith Beautiful California remaining on the CMJ Top 200 chart since it's early March debut, Miami's electro-pop outfit Cassette hit the road May 3 in Baltimore, Maryland. The debut album is comprised of 35 short tracks, which Devin Smith a.k.a. Cassette released on Atomisk Records, a label co-founded by Smith and college buddy Patrick Hart. In May, Smith will hit the road with his live band aiming to receive the same treatment as in his hometown, where they regularly sell-out shows. The 200 million Euro scheme will soar 120m over Dublin's Docklands, and will house the band's recording studio at its peak. The tower was designed by Norman Foster, who has previously worked on the Gherkin in London and the Millau Viaduct in France. Work on the project is due to begin next year with a projected completion date of 2011, reports The Press Association. |
